Turtle Party

This Turtle Party is the largest collection of turtles in the northeastern US that can travel! You can have 10 great turtles to come to your shell-y shindig,  interact with them and have a great show about them and afterward have Turtle Races!

This Party Moves Faster Than You Think!

We allow the kids to touch the land turtles, like the Box Turtles and all our Tortoises!

ATTENDING THE TURTLE PARTY

Any 10 of these 12 of these turtles, from all over the world, will make a wonderful turtle party, with more variety than anyone else can offer.

The Eastern Box Turtle was once so common everyone had one in their yards, but no more. We have rescued hundreds of these turtles over the years and returned nearly all to their natural homes–The Asian Leaf Turtle is a pretty common turtle, that most people have never seen. —The Spotted and the Painted Turtles are common aquatic cousins that live all over the NJ-NY-PA-CT area.

Turtle Party

The Mata Mata a turtle which appears to be some sort of dead tree! An expert in fact at not moving at all. This South American Tropical Rainforest creature spends it’s days sitting in mud, staying still, so small fish won’t understand what it is, until it’s too late. No Turtle Party should miss this, but only Snakes-N-Scales can bring it to you.

Turtle Party

The Soft Shelled Turtle looks like a “cute” turtle. Except its looks hide the most aggressive turtle alive and that includes snapping turtles! It seems to defy what it means to be a turtle. It’s not slow at all! In fact it’s one of the fastest animals in it’s watery home. These turtles are so speedy and able to do such crazy maneuvers in the river that few can catch them. Only an alligator is faster, but the gator can’t change directions as fast as these turtles can.

Turtle Party

It looks cute, but it will be a monster! These are 2 Red-Eared Sliders, a little baby and a grand old dame mom. You WILL get the second from the first, and it WILL happen faster than you think! We’ll bring both to your turtle party and explain why you really don’t want these turtles as a pet.

Kids love watching tortoises, especially while they eat. And we’ve got 3 of the greatest species of tortoises alive on Earth. The largest tortoise in Africa, called the Sulcata, or African Desert Tortoise, survives on eating thorny shrubs. It will actually grow sick if you feed it to nutritiously!— The Red Footed Tortoise is from the Tropical Rainforest of South America. It’s a big fruit eater and is a calm, friendly species.—-The Leopard Tortoise is another tortoise from Africa, where it lives in burrows of other creatures and creates a habitat for many more to join it, including giant spiders, pythons, cobras wild pigs and Cape Hunting Dogs.

The Alligator Snapping Turtle is truly one of the most dynamic species of turtles alive today, with powerful jaws and growing to a huge size. It is accused falsely of attacking humans but as long as you not putting your arm in there, you have little to fear.— The Common Snapping Turtle is actually a very peaceful turtle, living in the waters of most ponds, rivers and lakes from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. they live on all the smaller creatures that inhabit the waterways and their predation keeps the water habitat healthy.— The Crocodile Turtle, whose story of why its called that will enthrall everyone that hears it. Safe to say it looks nothing like its name sake! This small African turtle is really a shocker!

Turtle Party

Your choice of 10 of these Turtles. We talk about where they come from; how the particular individual animal came to us, his personal story. And get close enough to meet him or her as new friend. Many of these these turtles were rescued and turtles are in trouble all over the Earth. We think it’s important for kids to learn about animals so they can help find solutions to these problems in the future!
