Lions, tigers and bears may rule the land, and they may even venture into a river occasionally but they do not rule there. This fresh watery kingdom comes in a great variety of shapes and sizes with an equally diverse group of kings and queens. Alligators are at the top of this list but they are not able to live in cold waters or small “pond-doms.” These are controlled by a huge number of turtles, frogs and even salamanders. This show looks at the pond and the animals that sit at it’s center, including alligator, turtles, frogs and salamanders.

strange reptiles on Earth. Meet a Mata Mata, a turtle
that looks like a rotting log; learn about shy gigantic
